A good spritz search is specific
Most “near me” searches are too broad. If you type “bar near me”, you get everything from sports pubs to nightclubs. If you type “cocktails near me”, you still have to work out who actually serves a good spritz.
A better search asks for the thing you actually want: a sunny, easy, spritz-friendly spot close enough for the moment.
Check distance, then check fit
Distance matters, but it should not be the only filter. A venue five minutes away can still be the wrong choice if it is dark, crowded, badly reviewed, or not really built for relaxed drinks.
Look at photos, recent reviews, opening hours, outdoor seating, and whether the place seems to treat aperitivo-style drinks seriously. The best nearby option is the one that matches the occasion, not just the one with the shortest walking time.
Why SpritzSpot exists
SpritzSpot is being built because spritz discovery deserves a narrower, more useful map. Users should be able to open one place, see spritz-friendly options, save favourites, and come back later when the sun appears.
It is not a delivery app and it does not sell alcohol. It is a discovery and review service for venues worth considering.
The quick rule
If a place has bright seating, good photos, recent positive reviews, and a drink list that looks intentional, it is probably worth trying. If it only appears because it is nearby, keep searching.
SpritzSpot’s job is to make that shortlist easier.
