SpritzSpot ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the SpritzSpot app and website.
1. Information we collect
- Account details you provide, such as name, username, email address, sign-in status, and account settings.
- User content you submit, including venue reviews, ratings, photos, comments, saved favourites, and report-review details.
- Location information if you enable location features, so the app can show nearby spritz venues and directions.
- Launch-list details from the website, such as name, email, interest type, consent, approximate country, and basic technical metadata.
- App activity and diagnostics, such as interactions, device/app state, crash or troubleshooting information, and service logs needed to keep the app working.
- Purchase status for Remove Adverts access, handled through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.
- Advertising and consent information where ads are shown, including data handled by Google AdMob and Google’s consent tools to serve, measure, limit, and manage ads.
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the SpritzSpot service.
- Show nearby venues, directions, reviews, favourites, and submitted photos.
- Maintain safety, prevent abuse, moderate reported content, and enforce our Terms.
- Process Remove Adverts purchase status and restore access where available.
- Show and measure ads in the free version, and provide ad privacy choices where required.
- Send launch-list, service, and support updates where you have requested them.
3. Sharing of information
We may share information with trusted service providers who help operate the app and website, including hosting, authentication, storage, app distribution, advertising, analytics, diagnostics, email delivery, and support providers. We may also share information where required by law or to protect users, the service, and platform integrity.
4. User content
Reviews, ratings, photos, display names, and related venue content you submit may be visible to other users inside the app.
5. Advertising and tracking choices
The free version of SpritzSpot may show Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. We request non-personalised ads by default where configured, use Google’s consent flow where required, and only use Apple’s advertising identifier where allowed by the user and platform settings.
6. Data retention and account deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain safety. You can initiate account deletion inside the app from Profile. Account deletion removes your account from our authentication system and attempts to remove associated personal data that we are not legally required to keep.
7. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by using the in-app controls or contacting us at [email protected].
8. Children
SpritzSpot is not intended for children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country.
